About Me

A little about myself, my name is Ian, and my current position is a technician for a Managed Services Provider (MSP). Before that though, I have spent the last 20 years working in the retail industry. Much like many others, the pandemic had me reassess what I wanted to do with my life. I’ve always had a passion for technology, building my own computers, and wanting to learn everything about a technology when setting up the tech or service.

Having spent the last twenty years helping others with their technical support before receiving formal training, I felt now is the right time to transition into the field of IT. That being said, I have a lot of catching up to do. That’s what I hope to do with this blog.

What Is My Goal

My goal with this blog is to share what I’m learning about in this field and hope to inspire others to learn about this technology. I look forward to sharing my passion with you all, and to learn together!
